Verena Altenberger This Austrian actress is amazing. In "The Best of All Worlds" she plays the drug addict mother of a little boy with such devotion and passion that after a short time you will be breathless. Until this movie she had only played minor supporting roles and we seriously wonder why. Verena Altenberger needs more leading roles, dear Austrian (and international) film industry!
Maria Dragus First we saw her as shy and later badass Vanilla in "Tiger Girl" (one of the most underrated films of 2017). Then she played the blind pianist in the Austrian film "Licht". And in these fundamentally different roles, Maria Dragus showed us her talent. We are impressed and want more!
Ella hull Can we please introduce "Woman-Crush-Year" instead of "Woman-Crush-Wednesday"? Because I would have the perfect candidate for 2017: Ella Rumpf. We noticed her as a tough tiger in "Tiger Girl" (yes, Maria Dragus also plays there!) And as a tough big sister in "Raw", a cannibal sister drama. We haven't seen an actress with so damn much charisma in a long time. And before we can not stop here with the hymns of praise, we have one more thing to say: Please Ella, stay the way you are!
