After the serial death of Derek Shepard (Patrick Dempsey), Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is a widow with three young children in season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy". Now she urgently needs the support of her friends and colleagues. But the situation between her and Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) is tense. Because their new flame Penny is a red rag for Meredith.
