Top model Lily Aldridge has designed a collection for spring / summer 2014 together with the fashion label Velvet. She named the clothes in the collection after her friends.
For this reason, the 28-year-old would like to send her friends the pieces named after them.
In an interview with Grazia magazine, Aldridge revealed: "I even know which events I will wear them to and I send them to my friends. I have named some things after them and I can't wait to give them to them."
Among other things, Vanessa Traina can look forward to at least one piece from her collection, because according to Lily she is her personal inspiration and style icon. The model and the stylist have been close friends for many years and Aldridge loves her friend's taste in fashion: "She has a great style. Very classic and elegant. We met through friends in LA and have been friends for ages. I already have her As a teenager, things were always stolen from the closet!"
In addition, the pretty model admitted that she would like to follow in the footsteps of her "Victoria's Secret" colleagues, Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks and Alessandra Ambrosio. Like her, Lily wants to be an entrepreneur.
Months ago Aldridge talked about having your own label and having a beauty line would be a lot of fun: "I would love to have my own label. A beauty line would be fun, but I know it is quite a bit of work is having your own business."
