Designer Bertrand Guyon let go of the animals, but only very elegantly and tame. With the "Schiaparelli Animalia Fantasia" collection, the brand pays tribute to the eccentric style of its founder Elsa Schiaparelli.

Eccentric, luxurious, colorful and very original: this is how the Schiaparelli brand could be described in a nutshell. Founder Elsa Schiaparelli was a true diva of the 1920s. She made friends with artists such as Man Ray, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich and jean Cocteau and moved to Paris alone after leaving her husband. There she began to implement her creative designs. And there was always something artistic about them, such as her first collection, in which she captured illusionistic painting (trompe-l'oeil) on sweaters.
Therefore, one can safely say that the current Haute Couture Show by chief designer Bertrand Guyon would have pleased the founder. Because Guyon has chosen a very expansive approach and focused on the details of his creations. Above all, however, he drew from the animal kingdom and enchanted those watching with larger-than-life headboards.
And the "Schiaparelli Animalia Fantasia" collection is to a certain extent wearable! So for Halloween or Mardi Gras. But if you manage to recreate one of the designs at such an event, then you will not be able to escape the admiring glances.
