The comeback of the "Gilmore Girls" was one of the highlights of 2016 and since the #LastFourWords the fan base has been hoping for more episodes. In the last few months it has seemed like this wish would come true, but now the leading actresses Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham have added their mustard - and we are shaken!
"I'm not sure if it is necessary to do more episodes. I don't want to make the feeling arise that we are staying longer than we are welcome," the 50-year-old told Deadline. "There is probably a way to keep these characters alive, but I don't know if it would be best for them."
Alexis also doubts further consequences: "I don't know. It's so uncertain, I think we all didn't expect it to happen." Bledel gave one last spark of hope: If the script fits, she would be there: "It depends on what kind of story we would tell."
