You don't have to. Cameron Diaz (45) has had enough of showbiz. She is giving up her acting career and just wants to enjoy her private happiness with her husband Benji Madden (39). Selma Blair, one of Cameron Diaz's closest friends, told the Daily Mail, "Cameron is 'done' with the film industry. She doesn't want to go back to the big screen."
Speaking at the Vanity Fair party for this year's Oscars in Los Angeles, Blair, who starred with Cameron Diaz in the 2002 film Super Cute and Super Sexy, said, "I had lunch with Cameron the other day, we're on Thought the film. I would have liked to have done a sequel, but she's completely withdrawn from acting. She just doesn't care anymore."
Cameron Diaz has not made a film since 2014. According to an insider, the actress is literally flooded with scripts, "but she sees it this way: She has worked most of her life, her private life completely subordinated to her career. Now she has found her love happiness. And she puts it at number 1 on her list of priorities."
UPDATE: Selma Blair withdrew her statements. On Instagram and Twitter, she announced that her remarks about Cameron Diaz's retirement were just a "joke". The blonde has not announced a resignation from showbiz - she, Selma Blair, will now resign as Cameron Diaz's press spokeswoman.
