Fashion in the corona crisis? We continue to celebrate the creativity and beauty of fashion! And also the imaginative ideas that numerous labels now have to continue showing us their designs.
Fashion? Fashion wants to be shown. Fashion wants to be seen. The dress that we just bought, the bag that we have loved for years and of course the new collections from international fashion houses. They are presented and admired by the big names at the big fashion weeks of the world. But it's not that easy at the moment. Because a lot has changed in the fashion world since the Corona crisis. Thousands of people in a small space at runway shows are difficult to imagine right now. And so, for example, the Berlin Fashion Week was canceled this summer. Fortunately, the fashion industry is, in the truest sense of the word, a creative industry and so numerous labels are finding other ways to show us their new textile dreams now. Here are just a few examples:
Golden wheat fields as far as the eye can see. In between, a winding catwalk and a few occasional bystanders. In the following video, "Jaquemus" lets us roam virtually through the fields and admire the spring / summer collection 2021 with the aptly named "L'Amour":

Balmain is celebrating its 75th anniversary and optimism - with a life-affirming show on a boat on the Parisian Seine. And the Parisians celebrate on the bridges, just like we do on the virtual bridge:
