Fashion Week in Berlin is in full swing. And finally a designer is at the center instead of all the celebrities and influencers: Christoph Rumpf.

It's BERLIN FASHION WEEEEEK! Means that a wide variety of designers show what they can do on Berlin's catwalks. Unfortunately, exactly this aspect has slipped a bit into the background in recent years, when the fashion world seems to revolve mainly around bloggers and influencers, which is actually not the purpose of the event. Instead of the designers, these or celebrities were in the foreground. That is why my fashion heart beats all the louder when, in addition to a Marina Hoermanseder, other designers manage to attract attention.

Christoph Rumpf: theglasspunk

This is exactly what a young Styrian managed to do. The fashion designer, who lives in Vienna, was only awarded the Hyères Fashion Prize in April. What makes his collections so special? Instead of only buying ready-made goods by the meter, he uses all sorts of objects that have actually passed their prime: carpets, chandeliers and other flea market finds.

He also mixes high fashion pieces, such as chunky Buffalo sneakers, with his creations and creates a whole new world of fashion for men, which at the same time does not exclude women. Extravagant cutting techniques, unusual materials and the skillful play with accessories - Christoph Rumpf is a highly talented young man with an incredible amount of potential! Austria can really be proud of its creative offspring!
