Gigi and Bella's younger cousin Joann van den Herik is the new lingerie model of the Debenhams label and she looks beautiful.
With supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid as cousins, it's no surprise that little Joann van den Herik has cut a slice of both of them and is already enjoying great success.
Van den Herik, a body positivity model, is the face of British high street label Debenhams. The 18-year-old is in front of the camera for the lingerie campaign and looks stunning. And the most incredible thing about the whole thing? Not a single image was post-processed with airbrush or Photoshop.
Van den Herik accuses the fashion industry of being monotonous. It was always her dream to become a model, but she feared that she would not find a place for herself and her figure in the industry. Now she is a beautiful plus-size model who is committed to body awareness and self-love. “I think it's very important to show all the boys and girls out there that size and figure don't matter. We are perfect the way we are. I try to bring that into my work as a model and also on social media,”she writes on Instagram.
Van den Herik, who lives in the Netherlands, is quickly becoming a star and we wish her all the best on her way!
