I think the apple and cherry combination is awesome. When you also eat it as a crispy bag, you are almost speechless. But that doesn't matter. You don't have to talk while enjoying yourself anyway.

150 g curd cheese

350 g flour

50 grams of sugar

10 g vanilla sugar

60 ml of milk

50 ml of oil

1 packet of baking powder

1 pinch of salt


5 apples

20 g butter

1 teaspoon cinnamon

30 grams of sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 tbsp cornstarch


2 yolks, 1 tbsp milk


For the dough, mix all the ingredients together and knead well. Wrap in cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes. Then roll out and cut into squares.

Peel the apples, remove the core and dice very small. Melt and stir butter, cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice. Add apples and cornstarch and simmer gently. Then let it cool down.

Brush half of the squares with jam and spread 1-2 teaspoons of apple mixture on top. Then the squares are covered with the other half. Press the edges into place. Brush with the yolk and egg mixture and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at 180 ° for about 25 minutes until golden brown.

Take out and let cool down. If you want, you can serve it sprinkled with icing sugar.
