Doll hairstyles, weird make-up and oversized necklaces? Not Tim Burton, but Chanel is delivering the perfect Halloween look this year!
To be honest, we were already wondering what to do with the new Chanel spring / summer 2014 collection. My colleague was very outraged by the "works of art" that Karl Lagerfeld presented at the Paris Fashion Week. AND NOW! When we're all slowly getting into the Halloween mood and scouring the web for costume ideas, suddenly I felt like a brainstorm: The look of Chanel is perfect for Halloween! Reminds a little of the characters of the creepy, beautiful Tim Burton films like "Alice in Wonderland" or "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

hair
Here, wigs with a bob hairstyle are best. You can get them very cheaply in the costume shop or online for around 20 euros. As with Chanel, white blonde and black look the best, of course, but I think red or dark blonde (photo below) could also go very well with our Chanel feat. Halloween fit! You will definitely need a lot of hairspray. The best way to do this is to hairstyle the wig from underneath and spray it in strands until you achieve the desired look.
eyes
It's best to get carnival paint for the face in the costume shop or online in the following colors: purple, green, pink, yellow and black. The eyebrows are first painted completely black. You don't have to be careful, the entire look should ultimately look like a leopard pattern, so blobs are allowed! Then use a black eyeliner and make up your upper lid as if you were drawing a normal 60's eyeliner. Now apply make-up to the top of the cat's eyes and paint the entire lid black. Beautify the rest of the eye as shown in the picture with splashes of colored paint.
Complexion and lips
The complexion should definitely be light. The brighter the better! The best thing to do is to rub it off again with a white powder (glossy complexion does not fit). You can apply a little light pink blush to your cheeks, but don't overdo it.
The lips are made up in nude. Simply cover your entire face, including your lips, with the foundation.
Outfit
Dresses with lace, sequins, pearls and fringes are best for the Canel Halloween outfit. The more like doll it looks, the better. You might also find an old, cheesy oversize blazer in grandma’s closet! You can also remodel the chain from the show: Buy 2 plastic balls and slightly stronger gray cardboard in the craft shop. It would of course be cool if you sprayed the box gold or silver. Then cut a strip from the cardboard, spray it and glue the balls to the ends.
