Social media and the whole World Wide Web in general often remain a mystery for the older generation. But they are curious - and explore the terra incognita shamelessly and full of self-confidence. The American Kristin Hagan recently shared what can come of this on Facebook. She has collected a large number of Facebook bios from older ladies, which in short are simply wonderful. Your content? Far too much intimate information, abuse and absolutely no shame.
We wish we were at least half as cool as the "Old Ladys of Facebook". Many see it similarly. Kristin's post has now been shared almost 200,000 times. But enough of the words. Here are our favorite ladies:
