A baby at 6 months doesn't understand anything yet … Why you should definitely read books to your dwarf at this age.

At the age of six months, your baby can … well: it has its little fingers under control to such an extent that it can pull objects towards itself. It starts to spin and turn. Most importantly, your baby can now hear and see his world as clearly as an adult. His communication skills are also developing rapidly, including squeaking, bubbling, rapid pitch changes and chattering.
So if you think that reading a book to your baby at this age is of no use because it doesn't understand anything anyway: You thought wrong! But on the contrary.
At 6 months, the language develops rapidly
For a study, the results of which were presented at a meeting of the Pediatric Academic Society, researchers observed more than 250 mothers and their babies over a period of just under five years to analyze how well children's reading and learning skills were doing due to certain behaviors developed.
It turned out that the earlier the mothers began to read to their children or to explain picture stories to them, the better the vocabulary, the reading ability and the spelling of the children developed. The authors of the study: "The research is so exciting because we were able to demonstrate how extremely well books and reading have an effect on the language development of babies as early as six months old. What they are taught at this age will still have an impact years later in elementary school positive!"
