We have something for you guys. And you probably already have all of the ingredients at home. A baking mix in a jar not only looks great, but is also really useful! Not that we would run out of cookies at Christmas … But the baking mix can be kept for a while. Pretty handy! And after all, the glass can also be reused. The creative among you can come up with ideas for the labels and packaging. But the baking mix in the glass looks really nice even without a lot of frills.
You need this for the DIY baking mix for apple and cinnamon muffins
- 200 g of flour
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 60 g of oatmeal
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 120 g grated walnuts
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g of sugar
- … and of course a large glass or a glass bottle
Layers! Layers! Layers! That's how it's done:
Mixes the ingredients with a similar color. In this case: flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt. It is best to pour this mixture into the washed-out glass first. Then all other layers. It is best to fill the walnuts right at the top. Close well!
The "wet" ingredients cannot of course be put in the glass, but on the label! Or on a roll of paper that you simply hang with it.
- Peel and dice 1 apple
- Beat 125 g butter with 2 eggs until frothy
- Mix the ingredients from the glass with 200 ml milk and the remaining ingredients
- Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes
