Gwyneth Paltrow and screenwriter Brad Falchuk invited half Hollywood to their big engagement party. Who celebrated - and who stayed away from the event.

In 2016 Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and "Coldplay" singer Chris Martin divorced (or, as Paltrow called the process: "conscious uncoupling". In German, something like "Let's part in peace"). Now coupling is back in fashion - with the scriptwriter Brad Falchuk, with whom Paltrow has been in a relationship for almost a year.
And really. Because this weekend Paltrow and Falchuk celebrated an engagement party in Los Angeles, to which they invited half Hollywood. US media reported that 400 guests came to the party at Paltrow's estate. So many that a secret wedding was initially reported. This has now been refuted. It was a small, humble engagement party …

Among the guests were numerous Hollywood megastars, as reported by the "Daily Mail", among others. In addition to Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Liv Tyler, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, her husband Benji Madden, Demi Moore, Rashida Jones and Chelsea Handler also came to the Los Angeles Theater. Not Loaded: Paltrow's ex-fiancé Brad Pitt and her ex-husband Chris Martin. He is currently associated with "50 Shades" star Dakota Johnson - a liasion that Paltrow allegedly does not approve of.
