You apply the mascara - and do you always have mascara on your upper eyelid? Welcome eyelid. The trick, how you prevent the mess.
No matter how careful I am: Mascara always lands on my upper eyelid. Then I rub and have a little smear. This is due to my drooping eyelids (and yes: I have speculated with an eyelid lift, but I'm afraid I'll never pull it off).
For all those who are like me, there is a really simple trick with which you can apply the eyelashes (and not half the eyelid):
This is how you apply mascara without smearing
What you need: No more than mascara and a free hand
How you do it: First, ink the lower lash line. Then you place your index finger in the gap between the eyelid and the eyebrow (i.e. exactly the place where the not yet dried color from the tips of your eyelashes paints pretty dots). Now you apply the mascara to the ends of the lashes. Your index finger will be colored a little. But you can wash it - without ruining the rest of your makeup. Easy, huh?
