Anticipated with great anticipation: The film adaptation of Princess Diana's life with Naomi Watts will be released in cinemas at the beginning of 2014. Now there is the first video trailer.
She was "rigid with fear", said actress Naomi Watts recently about the shooting of the bio-pic "Princess Diana" over the last few years of the unforgettable British princess, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.
"Diana was a fascinating woman, very complex and full of contradictions," said Watts. "At first I was intimidated and not sure whether I could portray a person who was loved around the world in all of her facets."
It can - at least that's what the first official trailer that has just been online suggests. The video clip tells the emotional story of an icon who was revered by millions of people and whose public hunt led to her tragic death.
The film, directed by German director Oliver Hirschbiegel ("Das Experiment", "Der Untergang"), will be released in early 2014.
