Mama blogger Daniela doesn't really call herself a cleaning fairy, but when it has to be, she prefers to use her homemade cleaning products. And the best part is that the kids can also help out thanks to the chemical-free cleaning agents.
DIY: bathroom cleaner
You need:
- 1 teaspoon soft soap
- 250 ml of warm water
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
Shake the water and citric acid well. Add soft soap and shake again. Daniela's tip: Fill into a small, handy spray bottle and spray surfaces every two to three days, wait a few minutes, rub with a wet cotton cloth and wipe off.
DIY: window and glass cleaner
You need:
- 50:50 alcohol
- 1 tablespoon of citric acid in 250 ml of water
- distilled water
Fill the 300 ml spray bottle with alcohol and water and add the citric acid. Shake well. Daniela's tip:Glass surfaces can be polished with newspaper.
