After the wedding, you are happy that you can finally spend time with your sweetheart in peace. Or is it not? Apparently many find it better to spend their honeymoon with the group of friends …

We had to be surprised recently when the trend emerged that couples go on their honeymoon separately from each other (we reported here!). The most important question that flashed through our minds: "If you find it difficult to find a common goal on your honeymoon - how do you cope with everyday life ???" That's why we can cope better with the "Buddymoon" than the solo trip.
A buddymoon is a honeymoon that the couple spends with selected friends. And that makes sense somewhere. For example, when you are celebrating abroad and the clique decides to hang out for a few more days to the wedding. Plus, anyone who's married knows how quickly amnesia sets in after the big day. Then think back wistfully to the party and wish you had spent more time with (almost) every single guest.
There are now even hotel resorts that offer extra Buddymoon packages. For example in Mexico, where the focus is really on a quality time with friends. Digital detox included!
So if a couple has a group of friends and wants a little more action and adventure, then it makes sense to pack their best buddies! And don't worry, if you could never imagine a honeymoon like this - just because something is trendy doesn't mean you have to go along with it!
