… because who actually said that "flower girls" have to be children? Just. Because of this, this bride is celebrating her four grandmas.

Usually the bride's clumsy children pave the way to her groom and eagerly hand out flower petals, while all wedding guests greet them with a powerful "Aaaaww!" to be cheered. This bridal couple passed this extremely responsible task to another part of the family: Four sprightly ladies ran across the carpet at this wedding before Lindsey from Tennessee said yes to her Tanner. Why did you give them this honor? The bride herself said in an interview with Bored Panda: "I felt so blessed to have them all here, so I really wanted them to be part of it all."
The quartet, consisting of two grandmas on the bride's side, a grandma on the groom's side and even a Urli grandma, would easily have passed as bridesmaids with their coordinated outfits. We especially celebrate the great-grandmother, who strutted along the "Here comes the bride" path with a glittering dress and walking aid. 90-year-old Kathleen somehow reminds us of Sophia from the Golden Girls. By the way, the photographer was thrilled by the "flower girl" idea: "Over time I've seen a lot of cute flower girls … but these four girls win the cake." We can only agree with this!
