How long a marriage lasts apparently also depends on when a couple gets married. That is the finding of the study, for which the marriage and divorce registers of the Netherlands were analyzed for 14 years: Especially marriages that were concluded on Valentine's Day or on so-called "schnapps numbers" (such as on 2011-11-11) only lasted very short.
