Big gesture? Filmmaker Lee Loechler went all out with his marriage proposal and asked for his girlfriend's hand in the Disney film "Sleeping Beauty".
Don't get us wrong, we are open to any form of marriage proposal! Whether she asks him or both of them - the main thing is that it fits the respective relationship. But not a single marriage proposal can come close to this (and don't try to convince us otherwise!):
In the clip you can see Lee sitting in the cinema with his girlfriend Sthuthi. The film: Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty". But in the legendary scene in which Prince Philip finally kisses the princess awake, there is no blonde Aurora lying on the bed. Rather, it is a dark-haired beauty - Sthuthi. And the prince is no longer Barbie's Ken blend, but Lee himself.
The Lee Prince shows his beloved the ring, throws the jewelry box to the real Lee, who brings the matter to an end in real life (of course his Leading Lady said yes!).
Loechler posted the marriage proposal video on YouTube, where the clip received over 1.5 million views within a few hours. In the comments, users are impressed, touched and a bit jealous. We can understand the latter well. The filmmaker worked six months on his special marriage proposal and was finally able to bring his vision to the screen with the help of illustrator Kayla Coombs.
