Simply have the press officer confirm your first pregnancy? This is not for Katy Perry! The singer presented her baby bump in the new music video.
Can you still remember how rapper Cardi B performed her hit song "Bodak Yellow" on the "Saturday Night Live" stage in 2018? The trick was that the camera slowly zoomed out to take a full-body picture and so the baby bump was staged with pleasure. Meanwhile, the small culture (yes, that's Cardi B's daughter's real name) is almost two years old. But this kind of pregnancy announcement has broken the internet a bit.
And without wanting to be too nasty - there is almost no better promo than your own pregnancy! And so Katy Perry simply cleverly combined the two pieces of news: She released a new music video for the new song and in it again presented her baby bump:
In the song, "Never Worn White", Katy Perry celebrates her love for Orlando Bloom. She also makes strong hints that the wedding must be imminent soon. It's about time, after all, the two have been engaged since February 2019. Before that, they had had a picture-perfect on / off relationship for years.
The publication of the video was followed by the announcement of their fifth album in a live stream on Instagram. "I'm excited - we're excited - and happy. I've never kept a secret to myself for so long. And at some point I thought that the best way to reveal it in a song.", Perry told her 90 million followers.
And then she showed her fans her baby bump - in closeup & screeching with excitement!
