Winter shows its most romantic side if you set your wedding date in this underestimated time of the year. However, you should provide an extra portion of warmth with the wedding dress.

A fairytale winter landscape, glittering snowflakes that gently sit on the treetops - still questions, why weddings in winter are becoming more and more a trend? Nature is more romantic than ever and the bride in her white dress can compete with the white of the snow. However, so that one feels permanently like a snow queen and does not mutate into an icicle, the wardrobe should also adapt to the frosty conditions.
In any case, many wedding dresses consist of numerous layers of fabric, which already provide a good basis for the necessary warmth - and, by the way, make you sweat a lot in summer. There are also numerous wedding dresses with long sleeves.
But if you don't want to go without free shoulders and cleavage for the entire wedding day, you can make do with long gloves, stoles, boleros or capes in between. However, be careful when choosing the same color: because white is definitely not the same as white.
A mix of materials also harbors a lot of charm: delicate chiffon with coarse knit, a skirt made of tulle and lace and rough boots give the wedding dress an individual touch.
However, you should avoid long trains or veils in the cold season. Because snow also means moisture and so the long fabric can soak up and additional dirt or scattered salt can contaminate the dream dress.
