Does the contour of your face convey an affair or relationship to men? A new European study has shown that facial features influence the choice of partner!
According to a research study by the British Journal of Psychology, the facial contour of women decides whether men choose them as a short flirt / affair or as a long-term partner. For the study, men were shown a series of composite images of women's faces and asked which they would choose for short-term or long-term relationships. The results were that women with very feminine contours (fine jawbones, full cheeks, etc.) like Amanda Seyfried (picture left) are more likely to be chosen for flirtation or for a short-term relationship. Women with angular facial contours, on the other hand (high cheekbones, angular chin, etc.) like Fergie (picture on the right) would be more suitable for a long-term partner.

Why? "When making long-term decisions, men actually prefer less feminine-looking women," says the study's author. The theory behind this is supposed to be that the less supersexy kind of woman could not cheat as quickly as the feminine kind.
