Succulents are so Insta-compatible that you don't have to be surprised if someone sticks them on your nails as decoration: Welcome to Roz Borg's world!

Succulents, or 'fat plants', are sap-rich plants that are known for their large moisture stores. Well known to botanists and garden lovers. Others, 'normal people', know the plant as the pretty thing for little money at Ikea. Or as Insta-suitable green stuff on the Internet. But succulents are really pretty things and so versatile! Of course, they look particularly good in the garden, for example when they are integrated into a graceful rock garden.

Or you stick it on your nails and say 'nail art' to it. This is certainly a long leap from allotment garden fun to crazy nail experiments, but that's the way it is on the Internet. There's a lid for every pot, no matter how weird it may be. And the Australian artist Roz Borg has shown a true green thumb with her work - in the truest sense of the word.

On her Instagram account 'Arozona', she presents her followers with a variety of nail designs, with mini-succulents being glued to the nails instead of rhinestones. On the one hand it looks very strange, on the other hand it looks pretty cool. These nail photos were her thing, especially at the end of 2016, and succulent rings, mini succulent arrangements and succulent hair wreaths have also been added. This woman seems to love fatty plants so much that she dedicates her life - or at least her online presence - to these greens.

You don't have to worry about the plants, because the artist fixes them with a plant glue that simply dissolves after a while. Then the plants can simply be put back into the ground and continue to grow there. A nice 'trend' that Borg created there, even if it is not meant to be copied. Maybe you can find a talented nail designer who at least paints the succulents on your nails. That is certainly not un-pretty!
