French manicure is no longer French manicure as most people know it. Beauty bloggers have discovered that the nail tip technique can do a lot more than just whitening it! At first they became colorful, then they became multicolored and now they are multicolored and glitter as well. During our trend research on Instagram & Co, we discovered some cute glitter Frenchies and were impressed! WOMAN editor Nadja has tried the new version of the French manicure and here are the instructions:

First paint your nails with a base polish made of silicone so that the nail color can be easily removed again in the end. I used Isa Dora's Base Peel Off for this. One coat is enough, let it dry well.

Then you choose any nail polish color (glossy or smooth) and apply a layer. Let it dry well again.

Now use a matching glitter nail polish. In my case it is a varnish from O. P. I. In the end, this was not so well suited because it contains large but fewer glitter particles. Try to find one that has lots of small ones in it. You don't need to mask the tip - an imprecise glitter tip looks great (see picture above)! You have to apply 2 coats for sure - then let it dry well!

If you want to remove the nail polish now, just peel it off!

The glitter Frenchies look great especially in the upcoming Advent / Christmas season! Use e.g. black, matt lacquer and golden glitter lacquer for the tip!
