We all know them, the pictures of the over 50-year-old celebrities who are just so fit that you can only imagine in your sweaty nightmares how much ambition and effort are behind them. And we know it too … the realization that although you would love to do it, you probably never get up at 4 am and train for two hours a day. We then do the whole thing with "they have a personal trainer" and postpone the next fitness session a little longer. Yeah, they have anyway. And Jennifer Aniston's coach unpacked in Woman's Health Magazine how hard the 51-year-old actually trains.

Jennifer Aniston's fitness plan: You have to do that first …

Celebrity personal trainer Leyon Azubuike explains: The "Friends" star trains almost every day - at least one and a half hours a day. The fitness program, which the trainer calls "periodization", also includes breaks. This is how Azubuike adapts it to the actress's shooting days. "When Jen is not in front of the camera, she is in a different phase than the one before an award ceremony. I literally destroy her legs in the gym the day before," said the trainer. The actress sometimes "only" trains three days a week.

"If she has to film at three in the morning and we still have to train beforehand, then we'll do it," revealed Azubuike. Jen is by no means lacking in motivation. Variety is particularly important to her. As she told Shape magazine herself, she prefers yoga, cardio and interval training sessions. But boxing, jumping rope and strength training are also part of the varied program of the actress, says her trainer. "I think variety is important in order to use different muscles," revealed Jen himself. And of course the diet also plays a role. According to a radio interview, the 51-year-old swears by intermittent fasting - that means she only eats within eight hours a day and then takes a 16-hour break.
