Antiaging is not just about your skin care regimen, it's also about your makeup! Because some properties make you old (and no, it's not the wrinkles!).

Admittedly: on some days we stand in front of the mirror a few minutes longer and wonder where this ONE NEW WRINKLE came from. The tissue slackens a bit, the skin around the eyes becomes drier and every possible anti-aging advertisement advertises to remove wrinkles by magic. But hey, it's not the wrinkles that make us age, but completely different properties, as this video by make-up artist and YouTuber Hindash proves. Namely: dry skin, a pale complexion, colorless lips and a lack of glow. The good news: With a few simple steps and a little make-up, you can easily make up for 10 years younger. And what about the wrinkles? We can live with them quite well. To be honest: It's not primarily about "looking younger", but about feeling good about yourself and getting the best out of it.
Anti-aging: this makeup makes you look younger
Before model Caroline Labouchere's skin comes into contact with foundation, a rich moisturizer is the first thing to do. Dry skin without a glow automatically looks older. Hindash activates the blood circulation and works the products in with a gentle facial massage. He chooses a serum with hyaluronic acid, a highly concentrated eye cream that he also applies to other dry areas and, last but not least, a moisturizer.
Primer and foundation
Then it's on to the foundation, which he gently works in with a brush. It is best to choose a foundation for dry skin to give the skin a proper glow. Tip: Mix a few drops of a luminizer into the foundation or apply an illuminating primer beforehand.
Blush and bronzer: use cream products
In order not to remove moisture from the skin, you should avoid using powder for anti-aging make-up and instead use creamy products. Blush and bronzer conjure up color on your face - and that is the ultimate goal. Model Caroline automatically looks fresher, more vital and therefore younger. A highlighter provides that extra bit of glow!
Color in the face
Sure, we may not be able to pull off the make-up artist Hindash's eye shadow game. But: Practice makes perfect! And colors are practically essential for anti-aging make-up. Retouching eyebrows, using lipstick and lip liner, and a little eyeshadow can make us look a few years younger. And: don't forget your mascara! Tip: Be careful not to use colors that are too strong and, like Hindash, to use nude tones. Because even heavy make-up makes us look older.
