Do you want a new perfume? But after just a short try, your nose fails? We have the perfect trick to keep smelling good. And no, it doesn't contain coffee!
When looking for a new favorite fragrance, you have to sniff many bottles! But already after 3 or a maximum of 4 perfume samples, our nose is overwhelmed and needs a break in order to be able to really perceive and differentiate between the individual smells.
For this very reason, some perfumeries have small bowls with coffee beans on them. Because the smell of coffee can neutralize all the nuances that have been absorbed and we can sniff out again! However, not all shops offer this and we ourselves also rarely have freshly grated coffee in our coat pockets.
But is there something we all always have with us that works just as well? Yes, our skin!
Therefore, when trying out a new perfume, you should always spray the fragrances on the paper strips offered and sniff your own skin in between - preferably in a place that has not been creamed or perfumed, such as on the inside of your arms.
However, this only works with your own skin, not that of your loved one or a friend. Because your body odor is completely neutral for you and sniffing at it in between neutralizes your sense of smell.
