Fresh plums, juicy yeast dough - the perfect combination for a late summer sweet sin. Especially when you get the recipe from your own mother.

Ingredients for mom's plum stain:
- 300 g non-slip flour
- 50 g butter
- 60 g icing sugar
- 30 g yeast (1/2 cube)
- 3/8 l milk
- 2 eggs
- approx. 1 kg plums
- 1 organic lemon
- Granulated sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle on
Preparation of mom's plum stain:
Put the flour in a large bowl, create a small hollow in the middle and crumble the yeast into it. Mix the yeast with 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Then cover the so-called "steam" and let it rest in a warm place (maximum 50 degrees) for 10 minutes.
Mix together the soft butter, yolk and milk and warm up slightly - do not boil under any circumstances! Once the steam has risen, combine all the ingredients and stir with a dough hook until a silky surface forms and the dough comes off the pan easily. Then cover again and let rise again in a warm place for 45 to 60 minutes.
Wash, halve and core the plums. Spread the dough out on baking paper and transfer to a baking sheet. Brush the now flat dough with melted butter, then spread the fruit very tightly on it - with the cut side up. Drizzle some lemon juice on the plums and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes for 180 degrees until the dough is golden brown.
