Hermann and Thomas Neuburger place the highest demands on their own products. After all, they want to enjoy them themselves as often as possible. The basis of HERMANN is therefore the king oyster mushroom - a mushroom whose consistency is reminiscent of meat and which prevailed over other raw materials such as soy or seitan in the taste test. Up to now the king oyster mushroom is little known in our country and it is difficult to get it in Europe in sufficient quantity and good quality. That is why Hermann and Thomas Neuburger decided to become mushroom growers themselves, which they are now on a large scale.

In addition to the king oyster mushrooms harvested by hand, the vegetarian meat alternative consists of rice, rapeseed oil, a little egg protein and spices - nothing else. There are no additives, preservatives or flavors at all. All ingredients are organic and are sourced as regionally as possible. Schnitzel, minced meat and the like are made with simple steps that are familiar from every household kitchen: Freshly picked king oyster mushrooms are washed and cut into small pieces, mixed with the other ingredients and seasoned - done!
The preparation of the Wiener Schnitzel is just as easy: the HERMANN Schnitzel no longer has to be tapped. Turned in flour, pulled through a beaten egg, crumbled and baked in oil until golden brown, the schnitzel tastes delicious when served with lemon. The classic of Austrian cuisine can now also be enjoyed in a sustainable and much healthier way.
