In week four, Alexandra Schneider from Vienna and Tina Ausserer from Vorarlberg had a good run. Now it's time to persevere.

Impatience is Alexandra Schneider's greatest enemy: “I have now lost four kilos and that is constant. I know that's good, but overall it's just too slow for me,”says the Viennese. In doing so, she can already see and feel her success. The robe is looser, the waist is narrowing and muscles are showing. Because, and the 44-year-old is proud of that, sport is now an integral part of it. Strength training, Zumba, yoga - and on a spontaneous weekend trip to Berlin, she simply walked everything.

Alexandra now has a good eating routine as well: “I think carefully about what I want to do and then buy accordingly.” For breakfast there is always a variety of muesli without sugar based on spelled or oat flakes. She cooks lunch the night before and then takes it to the office. Lots of lettuce and vegetables, few carbohydrates, but meat, especially chicken and turkey: “It just tastes good to me and so I don't get bored while eating. And it works, I'm always full and have no need for sugar. In addition, where I can eat fruit as much as I want. Almost everything has zero points."

Practical points system

23 Smart Points per day, which Weight Watchers has assigned to all food, are allowed. The more points a food has, the less it should be eaten. Alcohol, sugary foods, too much fat, and carbohydrates top the list. Chicken, shrimp, legumes, most vegetables and fruits have zero points for this and you can eat as much of them as you want. For little extras such as a barbecue party or an urgently needed ice cream in summer, there are a total of 35 weekly points.

Alexandra has her points account under control and there are always some left over. So everything is on track and the weight is continuously decreasing.

A little partying

Tina Ausserer has good news and not so good news. Back from her vacation in the USA, she lost two kilos the following week. "But last week it was 0.3 kilos more," sighs the Vorarlberg woman. The reason: She was at the ATP tennis tournament in Kitzbühel and went a bit over the top. In addition to an encounter with Dominic Thiem, there was also a meeting with a pizza with Parma ham - a decent burden on the points account. Tina didn’t exceed points, but the weight didn’t decrease either. She made up for it with a 15 km hike on the Arlberg. Tina does sport regularly anyway: “On hot days I almost always go swimming. My lap on the old Rhine takes half an hour and then I feel really good!”In total, she has now 4.5 kilos less and it goes on!

The 42-year-old also has daily cooking under control: “There are so many great suggestions in the Weight Watchers cookbook and I always check out Instagram and the various forums. I always get new ideas and cooking doesn't get boring.”The best part: Her husband and two sons also like it. Current favorite dish: Noodles with salmon sauce, instead of whipped cream, Philadelphia is mixed with water: “That tastes really sensational!” Incidentally, the noodles are weighed beforehand, so Tina is sure that she will be full, but that she does not eat unnecessary calories. And that works fine. What she does not have, except on weekends, is breakfast: “If I start work at 7, I just don't get anything down before that. But that works pretty well, I don't like to eat in the morning anyway. And that's why I haven't had any cravings up to now. "She notices that it works by her really good body feeling:" Slip into fresh jeans and not have to muddle, that's really great."
