What is the Mediterranean Diet?
The Mediterranean or Crete Diet or "Mediterranean Diet" is recognized worldwide as one of the healthiest forms of nutrition. The extent to which you can lose weight and optimize your weight with it depends - as so often - on the choice of food and the amount of olive oil.
What do people eat on the Mediterranean Diet?

What they have in common, however, is the basis of the food: fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, legumes, olive oil, herbs, spices and red wine. Fresh fish is often eaten, poultry, eggs and dairy products are moderate, and sweet and red meat are seldom eaten. Everything is wonderfully delicious, which is why this type of diet is one of our favorites. By avoiding sugar, red meat and saturated fatty acids, the heart and brain are protected from diseases, and cancer is also prevented.
Why is the Mediterranean Diet So Healthy?

And the types of fruit and vegetables are also responsible for the fact that the diet has such a good reputation. tomatoes are often part of Mediterranean dishes. They consist of 94 percent water and are therefore ideal for healthy and light dishes. Tomatoes also contain a lot of vitamins A and C and the ingredient lycopene significantly reduces the risk of cancer.
You can also find many dishes in this kitchen Garlic, which protects against heart and circulatory diseases. The ingredients in garlic are considered to be antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. And what would a typical Greek dish be without Rosemary?
