New year, new (dramatic) make-up - even for beginners! Because we are now embellishing our everyday look with rhinestones.

The American HBO series "Euphoria" has long been a cult online - although the show has only been running since June 2019. A group of teenagers are struggling with their problems: drugs, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks, and self-loathing. The series is loved for its honest view of the lives of young people and because diversity is very important. At the same time, the figures also rock extravagant make-up looks that have whirled up the make-up world like a breath of fresh air.

Special eye-catcher: the versatile use of rhinestones! And so, too, the actors sparkle with each other. The rule here is that the look does not have to be perfectly executed. Lumpy mascara, smeared lip gloss or a little concealer indicate that makeup can also be just plain fun.

How can you apply these wild creations to your own everyday life? Very simple - just do it! For example, start with a rhinestone that you place under the eyebrow - on the outer edge. The effect is a mini eyelift, because the stone catches the light and optically moves the eyebrow upwards.

Or you can glue the rhinestone close to the inner corner of your eye. This visually lengthens the eye and makes it appear larger.

In the end, there are no limits to the looks. The placement of the stones can be determined by the mood of the day or by aesthetic preference. And you don't have to reach into the eyeshadow paint pot, like the ladies on the Instagram pictures. Even a simple, black liner looks like a sophisticated look with a little glitter.

Tip: Create a larger supply of stones right away, then it is not so bad if one is lost. Self-adhesives are the most practical, but you can also attach them with a simple glitter or eyelash glue.
