Ingredients for the "Halloween chocolate pudding" (4 people)
- 500 ml of milk
- 120 g dark chocolate
- 1 pinch of orange zest, untreated
- ½ vanilla pod
- 3 egg yolks
- 40 grams of sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
For decoration:
- 80 g chocolate biscuits e.g. B. Oreo cookies without cream filling
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp melted dark chocolate couverture
- 4 large cookies
- Flowers at will
Preparation:
Heat the milk (except for 4-5 tablespoons) with the chocolate broken into pieces, the orange zest and the sliced vanilla pod while stirring. In a bowl, stir the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy, stir in the cornstarch and the rest of the milk.
Stir in the hot chocolate milk while stirring and bring it back to the pan and bring it to the boil once and let it thicken a little.
Remove the mixture from the hob, continue beating for a moment, remove the vanilla pod again and fill the glasses with the pudding and let it cool down.
To decorate, fill the chocolate chip cookies with the cocoa powder in a freezer bag and crumble. Pour the melted chocolate into a small piping bag and use it to label the large biscuits. Sprinkle the pudding with the chocolate biscuit crumbs, insert the labeled biscuits as a tombstone and decorate with flowers as you wish.
